I applaud and thank you for your efforts.
I can look at my cameras (6 of them) with an Android app or Blue Iris on Windows.
To be honest, the Roku app has marginal usefulness for me. Perhaps it's issues with my model Roku (2XS) or my network. I even tried it with one of my TrendNet cameras and no go. Leave the login/password fields blank and in the mjpeg field enter /videostream.cgi?user=xxxxxxxx&pwd=xxxxxxxx&resolution=32&rate=0, replace xxxxx with your login and password. Enter the port, 8186 in the example above. Probably on your foscam the link will look something like:Īfter you find the link, in the IP field enter the IP (in the example above the IP is 192.168.1.90). The way to see what's the link you should use in the mjpeg field, first try to see your mjpeg stream in a browser. Perhaps the next version will work for me. as the cameras IP, but after I worked it out, it turns out to be 192 The Advidia line of IP network video surveillance. I tried every other Foscam and even tried editing the the URL but nothing seemed to work. Reolink Lumus Get them in the channel store while they are still warm: Basic: https: While waiting for the bugfix, you still can use the 'easy add', just get your roku IP from the network settings and use that IP. In future versions I'll include on the same web page a backup and restore feature. As soon as you press back on the remote and leave the view, the webserver is stopped. Windows 64-bit Windows 32-bit Windows XP macOS (dmg) Linux.
The way it works is that while on that view screen, there is a webserver running on your roku that will serve the page with the camera form in your browser. Follow the installation wizardand your computer will turn into a professional video surveillance system. Note, this only works if your computer and the roku are connected to the same network. Fill it up and press save and the new camera will be saved. This will open a page with a form for camera information. When on the screen saver settings, make sure you check the camera you want to show as screensaver (like in the following picture) and then press "Save screensaver" button.įor the "easy add" feature, open the "easy add" in the roku application, and while on that view, on your computer browser, open the address shown (just type it in the address bar in your browser). When I Preview all I see is a black screen.
Could you provide a little more insight into how one would access the New Camera Information page with a web browser, please.Īlso, I have set up the Screensaver but it doesn't appear to be working.
